These clementines are so fun to paint! Especially when mixed with joyful pattern. Here I’ve placed them in an Asian bowl handed down from my mother. The collage elements included in this colorful and contemporary still life give it an underpinning of nostalgia. I have a treasure trove of vintage papers that I incorporate into my work. Here, I’ve used a physics book page and a number chart.
