I've painted this favorite teapot and ginger jar so many times. This time I placed them together with a stargazer daylily and used colors that make my heart especially happy - vibrant blue and green. The paper used here is polka dot, vintage graph paper, a numbers chart, and a page for Golden Book Encyclopedia about birds in this still life. Using collage is a way of including different thoughts and viewpoints through the text and images. It reminds me that the world extends beyond my little studio.
