I often paint grapefruit because I love how they look. Also, there is something wonderful about seeing a cross section of anything. It makes me think more about insides and outsides. This has a little bit of collage mixed in with the paint - a legend from a map, a bit of map, and some polka dot paper in the shadow area.

It comes unframed, however, if you want me to frame it as shown in the last two photos let me know. I can invoice you an extra $30. It is a simple white wood floater frame.
