Painting flowers is an important and joyful part of my art practice. This bouquet of exuberant tulips is held by another favorite motif, a blue willow jug. This little painting has so many layers and lots of texture. The collage includes a vintage school flashcard, ledger paper, a vintage dictionary, an envelope liner, polka dot paper, and a map.
