Did you know that the plural for iris can also be iris? I used some of my stash of groovy 60’s fabric for this still life set up. It was the perfect backdrop for a white iris which inexplicably bloomed in January and was so fun to paint…such a surprise. Collage elements include map, poetry, polka dot paper, envelope lining, number chart, and shorthand textbook examples. Also, a little ledger paper and Golden Book Encyclopedia.

This is an original painting and has sides that are painted white. It is signed on the front and signed and titled on the back.
