Flowers always seem to have a secret life. Some essence that is impossible to fully grasp. These pink peonies against a dark background are my way of exploring their mystery. I’ve used mostly vintage papers as collage. They include an old typing manual, Golden Book Encyclopedia, a chart of the orbits around the sun and polka dot paper. It’s a way to share a deeply visual experience amidst a swirl of words and thoughts.
