Flowers for Giotto is named in honor of frescoes by Giotto we were fortunate to see in Padua at the Scrovegni Chapel. It was a truly spiritual experience. I’ve recently been using gouache and found that the layering of gouache blues helped me render that lovely blue Giotto used.

The actual image size is a 12” x 9” acrylic mixed media on watercolor paper. It is framed to the size 15” x 12”
