I found these tulips at the grocery store recently. They have been the perfect reminder that Spring is coming. I’ve painted them in a favorite member of my still-life teapots collection. A grid of collaged circles with bird imagery shows through the paint. The birds I see through the studio windows keep me in good spirits all year round and are the perfect reminder to live freely and joyfully. This was hard to photograph - it has a bit of a warmer glow than the photo shows
