Painting still life is a way to slow down and enjoy simple pleasures. Hopefully looking at still life does as well. I usually paint peaches each summer but this was a nectarine. Is there anything that speaks of summer more than seasonal fruit? Collage elements include polka dot paper, junk mail envelope liners, Hayden music pages, and vintage number charts.
